This site is owned by powerhouse hub and operated by Deafblind UK and is made available to you under the following terms and conditions. If you do not wish to agree to these terms and conditions please do not register.
1. General Terms
1.1 The information on the site is provided for the sole purpose of learning and development. You may not copy, display, transmit or distribute any material from the site. All copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights in the site and the material available on the site belongs to Deafblind UK or its third party suppliers.
1.2 We try to ensure continuous availability of the site and all the services available on it but accept no responsibility for the consequences of interruptions or delays, however caused.
1.3 You agree that you shall not use the website to transmit or upload knowingly or recklessly receive (or knowingly or recklessly authorise or permit any other person to receive or transmit) material which is obscene, threatening, menacing, offensive, defamatory, abusive, untrue, in breach of confidence, in breach of any intellectual property right (including copyright) or which may cause anxiety to others including racist or sexist content or material which otherwise violates any applicable law or regulation or code, or which makes excessive demands for bandwidth or contains any virus or which may otherwise impair or harm
1.4 Our site contains links to third party websites. These links are provided solely to support our training offer and not as an endorsement by Deafblind UK of the contents on such third-party websites.
2.1 You agree to pay the entire balance (in pounds sterling) of any course, event or webinar prior to the commencement of the service (unless an alternative payment structure is agreed in writing). You agree that payments will be made by credit/debit card. You acknowledge and agree that in the event of failure by you, or the person with whom responsibility lies for payment of such transactions, that we may terminate your account and cancel this agreement immediately. We may also pursue payment in a court of law.
2.1 All prices include VAT.
2.2 Where payment has been made for a course, event or webinar refunds will be procressed in the event that Deafblind UK has to cancel.
3.1 Your account will be deactivated after 6 months on inactivity
